WHO'S GOING TO WIN?
Every day at 11pm UTC, two Pokémon will go head-to-head in a battle for your votes! Here's how it works:
- Two Pokémon will be presented.
- You vote by simply commenting the name (and a reason why, if you want to!) of one of the current competing Pokémon you want to see win the round.
- At 11pm UTC the next day, the Pokémon with the fewer votes will be replaced by a new completely random challenger.
- This continues daily until all Pokémon have had their chance to compete.
- Pokémon will only appear once but will appear again in other forms if they have them such as Alolan, Mega, Gigantimax, etc. After they make their debut, they will not appear again unless they win the round!
- Pokémon appearance order has been decided by a random list generator.
Throughout the Face-Off, we’ll keep track of:
- The most popular Pokémon of its generation
- The Pokémon with the most votes overall
- The current champion's winning streak
- The most rounds won
- The biggest vote gap round
- The ultimate winner of this showdown!
Rules:
- You cannot vote more than once per round. (Don't use alt accounts, there's no fun in that!)
- You cannot change your vote.
- You can have any reason for your vote. For example: Mew vs Totodile
- Mew would easily beat Totodile in a battle! I'm picking Mew!
- Totodile is cute and he's blue which is my favourite colour! I'm going to vote Totodile every single round!
- Totodile has been winning too much. I'm gonna help break the win streak. Muahahah!
- If 11pm UTC is reached and the competing Pokémon are tied, the two will be run through a battle simulator and the winner will gain 1 vote and advance to the next round.
Don't check the forums much? Just ping me on the Discord server (@py.an) to know who's facing off in the current round and cast your vote there. I'll reply to the thread with a link to your vote.
