How this game works:
Two Pokémon are presented above. You simply comment the name of the Pokémon you wish to vote for. Every single Pokémon will have a chance in this competition, including any different forms they may have.
0.5% chance | 1% Chance | 1% Chance + +5% vote boost enabled | 1% chance + +5% vote boost enabled + +5% EXTRA vote boost enabled
When you vote, it's recorded by me and a wheel is spun behind the scenes. You have a chance to land on shiny, which will give you the shiny version of the Pokemon you have voted for. You can also land on a reroll which gives you another attempt, or a vote boost which increases your odds of getting a shiny by +5% for the next round or when you vote next. You start with a 0.5% chance, and each consecutive vote will bump that chance up by 0.1%, up to 1%. Failing to vote one day will reset you back to 0.5%. You don't lose your vote boost if you forget to vote. You'll notice on the wheels above that consecutive voting also increases your chance to land on the reroll and 5% vote boost segments.
Voting now also gives you 100 coins each time that you can use to increase your shiny chance. You can see above the big yellow segments - these will give you 1,000 coins if you land on them! You can also reply to other players and request to buy or trade shinies with them.

Pizza Gamble | The wheel changes drastically into 3 segments, giving you a 1 in 3 chance to get the shiny you want. Land on the other two segments and you'll have to either pay an extra $1,000 to a random voter in that round, or your $10,000 goes up for grabs into the jackpot. | $10,000 |
Shop notes: Purchased items will be used during the same round you bought them in as your wheel is spun usually at the end of the round. To purchase something, simply ask for it when you vote! If you'd like to purchase someone's shiny, please reply to any message of theirs here so they're notified. Please check underneath the Shiny Hunters list to see a guideline for shiny pricing and to see how many coins you have in your bank.

What is the JACKPOT?
The JACKPOT is a cash prize up for grabs every Sunday 11pm UTC. Every time you vote and collect $100, the JACKPOT collects $10. To be eligible for the JACKPOT at the end of the week you must have voted at least three times in that week. A wheel will spin will all eligible members and the winner will receive the lot!$50
What is the JACKPOT?
Rules:
- You cannot vote more than once per round. (Don't use alt accounts, there's no fun in that!)
- You cannot change your vote unless you've realised I've somehow managed to misinterpret your vote
- You can have any reason for your vote.
- You can give shinies away but you cannot give coins away.
- You cannot get a refund from the shop.
Throughout the Face-Off, we’ll keep track of:
- Most voted Pokémon per generation
- Generation that received the most votes + wins
- Pokemon with the most votes overall
- Champion's winning streaks/Most rounds won
- Biggest vote gap round
- Shinies
- Player with the most coins
- The ultimate winner of this showdown!
I've created a Google spreadsheet that I simply enter the pokemon name and vote into and it magically does all the rest for me, so stats should be accurate as it's just a matter of copy/pasting!
