Sapphire is my first Pokemon game, so I vote for it.
Btw, I also like FR/LG, Platinum and BW.
These are all my childhood memories.

I've only played up to R/S/E...
but Crystal has my vote. Simply because it ha more region, and then I get to duel Red. ^^

I was torn btw Diamond/Pearl/Plat and BW and BW2...
But I did not expect R/S/E to get the most votes, wowsies

Heart Gold & Soul Silver. Took an already brilliant Pokemon Game and added the best graphics the NDS saw imo as well as being able to play both Kanto and Johto still. Hard to go wrong really, I have great memories of almost all the games listed here but as far as content goes, that era had me playing for hundreds of hours and created many amazing memories. Still waiting for the Spiky Eared Pichu to make its comeback.
