The PokéForce Spring Demo is nearly upon us...
And they say April Showers, bring May Flowers!
Welcome back, PokéForce! In just under a week, we're set to host the next biggest event in our games history! The Development team has been hard at work to bring this latest iteration of the game to you, and we're excited to go over just what to expect in the Demo this time around.
We've got a lot of things to go over, but we'll try to keep it short and sweet as to not spoil anything too major!
The Petal Cloak - Exclusive Demo Cosmetic
View attachment 3391
Do you have what it takes to obtain the newest demo exclusive cosmetic, our particle infused Petal Cloak?
Our challenge for you this demo is to visit Ecruteak City, Violet City, and Azalea Village to challenge a preview of our Gauntlet Gym Trainers!
Defeating our 3 Gauntlet challenges won't be a simple task however, since we'll be featuring an all-new mechanic: scaled trainers! We've taken the time to carefully curate teams based on your average weighted party level, ensuring that no matter when you decide to take on these challenges, you'll be sure to be faced with an incredible fight. No leaving the challenge either, or you'll have to start over!
The Petal Cloak will be the last time we offer an exclusive Demo Cosmetic, so be sure to take on the challenge, and get yours - before Demo Cosmetics are gone forever!
Battle Engine: V2
Let's give it up for @Benoon, who has been working extremely hard on the newest version of our Battle Engine! It's come a long way since our Summer Demo, including all new terrains, status modifiers, move effects, extremely resilient code, and packed with tons of features that we didn't feature last time. Please note that it's still a work-in-progress, but you should start to see more oomph in your battles.

Smithing, Crafting, and Skills
We're also featuring two new skills this Demo! Our avid mining fans will be pleased to know that they'll be able to turn all that coveted ore into useful bars, that can then be turned into more products via Crafting! There's 1,000s of lines of new data for these skills, and we're sure you're going to love how much they add to the world!
We've also added tons of new content to existing skills, including new trees to cut down, forage items to harvest, and rocks to mine.

Trading
Another all new feature for PokéForce is the ability to trade with each other! Mined a bunch of ore that someone might need, and you need PokéYen to obtain some potions? Make that swap! Our new trading window will allow you to trade items, PokéYen, and Pokémon. We've added a bunch of fail-safes to it too, so.. if you can break it, I'll personally gift you a pot of noodles.

The Indigo Training Grounds
Something we've really been focused on this Demo has been to make sure that all of our new friends understand how the game works mechanically! We're introducing a massive amount of new mechanics to Pokémon, and we understand that not having a proper tutorial can be a real pain point!
Introduce the Indigo Training Grounds, where you'll be introduced to our controls, how to forage, and get familiar with skills such as Crafting. If you're familiar with the RuneScape tutorial, you'll find this one very similar!

We've made a ton of progress since our Summer Demo, and we're excited for you to come check it out! Our focus was on polishing what we had, and introducing more of what you'll see on our release!
Happy Spring PokéForce, and we'll see you soon! Good luck on your Gauntlet Challenge, and come say hi when you see a developer in-game, we're so eager to get your feedback on how we're doing so far!
Thank you,
The PokéForce Staff Team
